Troubleshooting
Messages Not Appearing in Discord?
- Verify the webhook URL is correct and hasn't been deleted
- Check if the webhook still exists in your Discord server settings
- Ensure the bot has permission to send messages in the target channel
- Test the configuration using the "Test Configuration" button
Webhook URL Issues
- Webhook URLs must start with https://discord.com/api/webhooks/ or https://discordapp.com/api/webhooks/
- Make sure you copied the entire URL without any extra characters
- If you regenerated the webhook in Discord, update the URL in your notification channel
Best Practices
Channel Management
- Create dedicated channels for different types of monitoring
- Use descriptive channel names like #website-alerts or #price-changes
- Set appropriate notification settings for each channel
Server Organization
- Use channel categories to organize different types of alerts
- Consider using roles to control who sees different alert channels
- Pin important tracking information in channel descriptions
